LATEST NEWS

Google Bard is catching up with ChatGPT

Google's Bard chatbot is now powered by the Gemini Pro model globally, supporting 40+ languages.

Gemini Pro model is significantly better than their previous LaMDA and PaLM models model. With this upgrade, Bard will be far more capable at things like understanding, summarizing, reasoning, brainstorming, writing and planning.

My honest personal opinion is, that Bard is way better than the ChatGPT free model. I highly recommend to try it out!

Bard can generate AI images

Additionally, Google Bard now can generate AI images powered by their Imagen 2 model (just like ChatGPT’s Dall-E).

To generate an image just type a query like "create an image of a futuristic car" in the chatbox.

Amazon announces Rufus, a ChatGPT-like shopping chatbot

Yesterday Amazon introduced Rufus, a new AI assistant for shopping.

Rufus uses data from Amazon and the web to answer customer questions, make recommendations, and help with product discovery in the Amazon app.

Instead of typing "laptop" into a search, you could interact with Rufus through a series of questions, such as:

  • "What factors are important when choosing a laptop?"

  • "Which laptops are most suitable for graphic design?"

  • "Contrast the latest MacBook with Dell XPS models."

Now in beta, Rufus will gradually become available to more U.S. customers in the coming weeks.
