New AI outperforms real doctors

Google's new medical AI, AMIE, surpasses real doctors in every metric when it comes to diagnosing patients!

AMIE is an LLM that diagnoses patients by interacting with them and asking questions about their condition. In terms of diagnosis accuracy, recommendations, and even empathy, AMIE outperforms real doctors.

This challenges the notion that AI will only assist doctors, rather than replace them.

According to the revised policy page, these changes were made to make the document "clearer" and "more readable". However, it is worth noting that the word "clearer" has since been replaced with "added service-specific guidance".
